Food options were fantastic, especially the steak night. Room noise from outside made it hard to sleep well.

the room at the farmhouse was really comfortable, making it a great place to relax after exploring the beautiful derbyshire dales. the meal downstairs was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and cheerful, which really added to the nice atmosphere. it’s definitely a spot we’d love to return to for another cozy experience!
check-in and check-out felt a bit cold, leaving us feeling unwelcome.

It was just a strong match for a short visit in Derby with great value-to-price ratio. The food was great, especially the pizzas. Make sure to check if breakfast is included in your rate.

The atmosphere was nice and the food was tasty, especially the fillet steak. Service was pleasant, but it did take a bit longer than expected, especially for drinks. I enjoyed my meal here and would consider returning for the steak offers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a charming Family Suite. The kids loved the clean, spacious atmosphere, and we all appreciated the lovely dining area with the giant log burner, creating a cozy vibe while having dinner.
In my wife’s opinion, clearer signs for check-in would have made things smoother.

A hidden gem for food lovers
We visited the place for a Sunday roast, and let me tell you, the beef was succulent, perfectly cooked, and the Yorkshire pudding was enormous. The dessert selection was equally impressive. I opted for the sticky toffee pudding, and it was an indulgent treat I won't forget.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but the quality of the food made it worth the price.

Built with charm, the Farmhouse has a lovely atmosphere. The family suite felt spacious, with a cozy sitting area and a large king-sized bed that promised comfort. I especially enjoyed the delightful breakfast, particularly the pancakes that my son couldn’t stop raving about. the room needed some attention. the bathroom facilities had issues, such as water temperature control that didn't quite meet expectations. the carpets could use a thorough cleaning or replacement. It would be great if these small details were addressed to enhance the overall experience, but the warm staff and fantastic food definitely made it a memorable visit.

Great food and cozy vibes
Had an awesome lunch that hit the spot! The winter salad was huge and tasty, and my chicken tikka baguette rocked. Service was super chill, no rushing at all. Just wished the mocktail selection was wider, but the Apple mint was delish! Can't wait to come back for those brownies again.

The family suite features ample space, perfect for those traveling with kids. Charming decor provides a rustic yet cozy vibe, making it a pleasant retreat.
The bath plugs in several rooms don't hold water, which hampers a relaxing soak. Carpets could use a deep clean, as stains were noticeable, and the room was quite cold during my visit. For a more restful night's sleep, avoid rooms facing the main road. noise can be disruptive, especially in the cozy double room.
