This place was just what we needed.
The restaurant here was particularly good for dinner, we both ordered delicious dishes. The decor was smart and the bed was comfy. Besides, the location was marvellous and stunning for our stay, within 20 minutes' walk of Hackwood Farm.

Food options were fantastic, especially the steak night. Room noise from outside made it hard to sleep well.

The room at the farmhouse was really comfortable. The meal downstairs was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and cheerful, which really added to the nice atmosphere. It's definitely a spot we'd love to return to for another cozy experience!
check-in and check-out felt a bit cold, leaving us feeling unwelcome.

It was just a strong match for a short visit in Derby with great value-to-price ratio. The food was great, especially the pizzas. Make sure to check if breakfast is included in your rate.

The atmosphere was nice and the food was tasty, especially the fillet steak. Service was pleasant, but it did take a bit longer than expected, especially for drinks. I enjoyed my meal here and would consider returning for the steak offers.

The kids loved the clean, spacious atmosphere, and we all appreciated the lovely dining area with the giant log burner.
In my wife's opinion, clearer signs for check-in would have made things smoother.

A hidden gem for food lovers
We visited the place for a Sunday roast, and let me tell you, the beef was succulent, perfectly cooked, and the Yorkshire pudding was enormous. The dessert selection was equally excellent. I opted for the sticky toffee pudding, and it was an indulgent treat I won't forget.
It wasn't inexpensive, but the quality of the food made it worth the price.

comfortable stay but decor needs refinement
The room provided a comfortable ambiance throughout our stay. Public areas were well-maintained.
The decor in the room seemed like an unsuccessful attempt at upscale aesthetics.
